NASA SEWP VI
Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI is a Best-in-Class (BIC), multiple-award Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) administered by NASA. It gives federal agencies a pre-competed, streamlined path to information technology, communications, and audio-visual (ITC/AV) products, cloud services, and IT professional services — without running a full open-market solicitation.
SEWP VI supports order-level award of multiple commercial contract types, including firm-fixed-price, time-and-materials, labor-hour, fixed-price award fee, fixed-price incentive fee, and fixed-price economic price adjustment, or any hybrid of these types.
Aretec holds SEWP VI awards across all three scope categories:
- Category A — ITC/AV products and solutions, including hardware, software, and cloud-based services, along with associated product support such as installation, integration, testing, training, and maintenance.
- Category B — Enterprise-wide strategic solutions for large-scale requirements spanning multiple departments, locations, or field offices, including cloud computing and managed/shared services.
- Category C — Specialized professional services supporting the design, implementation, and support of mission-critical technology environments.
FAIR OPPORTUNITY
FAR 16.505(b) (1) provides that each contractor shall be given fair opportunity to be considered for each order exceeding $10,000 and issued under multiple award contracts. The FAR states that the method to obtain fair opportunity is at the discretion of the Contracting Officer (CO) and that the CO must document the rationale for placement and price of each order. Using the SEWP online Quote Request Tool is the recommended method to assist in this activity and to augment the required decision documentation. The SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT) will automatically include the Contract Holders within a selected Group or based on a suggested source.
