Each year, SmartCEO scours the greater Washington D.C. Area to discover the newest up-and-coming executives. This year, Aretec is proud to announce that our very own, Roby Luna, was selected for the 2017 Executive Management Award (EMA). In order to be in the running for this prestigious award, a candidate must be nominated by a colleague who has first-hand experience with the candidate. After the nomination, the candidate must complete a fairly rigorous process of answering questions about their company, management challenges and ways they’ve overcome them, and the future vision for their company.
As described on the SmartCEO website, “The Executive Management Awards program recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of the region’s management all-stars – CFOs, CIOs/CTOs, COOs and other Executives (CXOs). These individuals uphold the highest ethics, lead collaboratively and creatively, and enhance and support the organization’s mission. An independent committee of local business leaders reviews the EMA nominations, and winners are chosen based on the quality of the nominations submitted. EMA winners are profiled in SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at a high-energy awards reception.
